The Authors

Business Over Coffee was started by three friends who all have a passion for business and found themselves discussing business over coffee quite often. Over one of these talks, the three had the idea to start a blog that could provide this same business over coffee experience for readers all around the world and let them interact with the authors and other readers. Whether you own a business or work for one, there is always something to be learned from discussion about business. A little history about the authors:

Austin Spitzer

Austin was born in Clovis, CA where he spent the first 17 years of his life. The day after his 17th birthday, he and his family moved to Jacksonville, Florida. After graduating high school in 2005, he attended Florida State College seeking his AA in Business Administration. In 2007, Austin moved to Tulsa, OK to complete his undergraduate studies and in spring of 2009 he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Spanish. He is now currently working on his M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance at Oral Roberts University .

Austin loves talking business with anyone willing to chat. His favorite topic is how simple life (and the inclusion of business in life) can be. The three loves in his life are business, sports, and the people around him everyday that make life so enjoyable.

If you would like to talk with Austin about business, a great book, fantasy football, or for any other reason you can get into contact with him through your preferred social network below.

David Graddy

David was born in Beaumont, Texas. At the age of 12, he moved to Tulsa, OK. Before moving to Tulsa, he was home-schooled. Once he arrived in Tulsa he started attending a local private school. In May of 2009, he graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Business Management. In July 2010 David will be getting married to his high school sweetheart.

David’s love of business started the summer before going to college when he worked as the manager of a firework stand. He loved the business so much that he actually started his own firework stand two years later while in college. Along with owning a successful retail firework stand, David also recently starting working for a firework display company (yeah, these are the big shows).

David has a love for life and the people around him that continually force him to think outside the box. David feels that by surrounding himself with such people he will always have someone around to push him to the next level. He has a firm belief that you can always learn something from those around you.
